ETHAN CORN is an actor and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA.

After graduating from film school at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, he wrote, directed and starred in the short film DRY ME CRAZY, a comedy about romance, grand gestures and proper laundering practices. The film had its world premiere at the 2015 Cleveland International Film Festival and went on to screen at festivals across the country.

 
 

On screen, Ethan has played recurring roles in STATION 19 as Firefighter Jeremy and THE RESIDENT as Heli-Medic John Akerman. He will appear this spring in the first season of COUNCIL OF DADS, a new series on NBC. He has also provided voices for dozens of TV shows, including GREY’S ANATOMY, SILICON VALLEY, MODERN FAMILY, 13 REASONS WHY, TRANSPARENT and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER.

Ethan trains as an actor with Lesly Kahn. He is also a company member at The Actors’ Gang Theatre in Culver City, and most recently appeared on stage there this past fall in 1984, directed by Tim Robbins. Another play he did last year at the Gang — ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST — recently received four nominations for the 2019 Ovation Awards, including Best Production of a Play (Intimate Theatre). Ethan has performed in their annual Shakespeare-in-the-Park show for kids and families the past three summers, and works with children and teenagers as a teaching artist in their Education Department. He has also trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade (improv) and Playhouse West (Meisner).

Additionally, Ethan plays left field for the consolation bracket-champion intramural softball team, THE LASER WOLVES.
